The stats show that most people in Illinois want the wall to be built along the southern border wall. 2% feel that mexico should pay for it. The percentage is way higher in Chicago overall. 6% say yes but with high tech instead of a physical one which means that to not just make a wall but to equip it with high tech equipment to make it safer and less migrants actually come in. 49% say no just because they think its not needed. 6% say no because it would cost too much and it wont be effective people will still cross. 3% say no but to increase our military presence along the southern border because increasing the military presence would cost less and it would be more effective to make it harder for people to cross over. 1% of people say no, and we should adopt an open border policy. An open border policy means that to have a open border that anyone could cross between mexico and the us at any given time. I think that an open border would be too much and easier to cross drugs. I would have another option it would be make it easier for people to get a visa and put more security along the border for drugs and gun trafficking.
